Vegetarian Pastry Roll
Vegetarian Pastry recipe easy to prepare, delicious day or night.

Preparation: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
500g Short pastry
100g Potatoes
50g green runner beans
25g Fresh parsley
1 Sweet red pepper
1 Egg (optional)
3 Sage leaves
1 Table spoon butter
1 Table spoon milk
1 Tsp honey
½ Tsp Caraway seeds
1 Garlic clove
3 Tsp olive oil
Black pepper
Sea Salt

Peel and boil potatoes for 5 minutes.

Drain and mash potatoes in a large bowl.

Season potatoes with salt and pepper.

Add 1 crushed garlic and 1 tsp olive oil to the bowl.

De-seed sweet pepper and chop finely.
- Mix chopped
pepper in bowl gently.

Add chopped sage and parsley. Mix together gently.

Add 1 egg, honey, caraway seeds and chopped
runner
beans.

Check seasoning again and set aside.

Turn oven on at 220 degrees Celsius.

Roll out pastry 20 x 30 cm in rectangle shape.

Brush 2 tsp olive oil over pastry.

Spoon mixture on one half of the pastry.

Roll pastry tightly but gently into a log shape.
- Brush milk over roll.

Decorate and cut small incisions
(allows pastry to breathe).

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
