Ingredients:
250g Organic tempeh
1 Table spoon sun dried tomatoes
1 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp Lemon juice
1/2 Cayenne pepper
2 tsp Sesame seeds
2 Table spoons olive oil
250g Fresh spinach leaves
Salt and pepper
  • Mix spices with olive oil and add sesame seeds.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cut tempeh into cubes and coat by hand in spice sauce.
  • Grill tempeh cubes in pre-greased tray for 10/15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve in a bed of spinach leaves and chopped sun dried tomatoes.
  • Drizzle peanut oil and lemon juice
  • Ready to serve.
You do not need to spend a fortune to make a dish that looks a million dollars.  Just use your imagination and allow your creativity create dishes that taste good but also look good.

What is Tempeh?
Like Quorn, Tempeh is a mycelium, root part of a funghi (mushroom).
Despite being available for years in the Far East, it is not as popular as Tofu in the UK. 
You can can find tempeh in Vegan and organic food specialist shops.  Slightly expensive but worth it!

Tempeh can be bland on its own but added as an ingredient can help create the most tasty dishes.
