Melon With Smoked Salmon


Smoked Salmon Recipe
The fresh tasty melon is the perfect contrast for the salmon.

Serves: 4
Preparation: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 Honey Dew melon
500 g Smoked thin salmon slices
Fresh Chives
Lemon juice
Salt and Pepper

  • Cut salmon into long strips 4 cm wide.
  • Drizzle salmon with juice of 1/2 lemon.
  • Peel melon and cut into slices.
  • Wrap salmon strips around each melon slice.
  • Allow 3 melon slices per person
  • Decorate with fresh chives.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

This smoked fish starter is a great suggestion for a fish starter popular in parties.  It can be prepared well in advance with little effort whilst still being a crowd pleaser.

    Salmon contains Omega 3 fatty acids.  This ingredient is a great immune booster, promoting mobility of white blood cells.
