Salmon Pastry


Salmon Pastry or Pasty Recipe - Baked recipes with a rich flavour using simple ingredients.

Serves: 4
Preparation: 35 minutes

Ingredients:
500g Puff pastry
250g Salmon fillet
100g Cheddar cheese
50g green runner beans
50ml olive oil
1 tsp Caraway seeds
Pepper
Salt

  • Boil salmon for 5 minutes, drain and remove fish bones.
  • Boil runner beans for 2 minutes and drain.
  • Pre-heat oven at 220 C degrees.
  • Brush olive oil over large baking tray and put in oven to heat.
  • Roll out puff pastry until 0.5 cm thick.
  • Remove baking tray and place pastry dough in tray.
  • Grate cheese and put over pastry dough.
  • Flake salmon and place over cheese.
  • Add green runner beans on top.
  • Sprinkle caraway seeds.  Season with salt and pepper.
  • Drizzle 3 tsp olive oil and bake in oven for 25 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
