- Peel and slice onion finely.
- Fry onion with frozen Quorn pieces, olive oil and butter, on medium heat for 2 minutes. Toss pan regularly.
- Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Turn heat down as onions soften, after 1 more minute take off the heat.
- Serve Quorn pieces on French bread with chopped sweet pepper, cilantro and salad cream.
I love French bread. Great on
its own with just butter but as a base with any sandwich filler, it if
a great snack specially when time is so precious.
If you are going through the transition from meat eater to vegetarian,
Quorn pieces are a great alternative to chicken. It absorbs spice
flavours very well.
