Peri Peri Chicken Style - Vegetarian Option


Peri Peri Chicken - Vegetarian Quorn Recipe as an alternative to meat.

"Piri piri" chili is used to make the famous Peri Peri sauce.

Ingredients:
6 Small Quorn fillets (Soya Chicken style)
3 Table spoons Peri Peri (Portuguese sauce)
1 Table spoon of sweet tomato sauce
1 Table spoon Soya butter
100 ml White wine
¼ Paprika powder
2 Garlic cloves
1 Carrot
1 Lemon
Olive oil
Pepper
Salt

  • Peel and finely chop garlic.  Peel and slice carrots.
  • Add garlic and carrots to heated pan with 1 table spoon olive oil.
  • Add Quorn fillets, tomato sauce, peri peri sauce, ½ lemon juice and paprika.
  • Stir gently for 2 minutes on high heat.
  • Add wine and butter and gently stir for 1 minute on low heat.
  • Serve with rice and lemon slices.
