Onion Soup
Onion Soup Recipe -
Onions
consumed in moderation can be
very healthy

Serves: 2
Preparation: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
4 Red onions
2 Toast slices
1 Medium potato
1 Celery stem
1 Garlic clove
20 g grated cheese
1 Soup spoon Soy sauce
1 Soup spoon olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp turmeric
4 Crushed Juniper berries
1 Bay leaf

Chop garlic, onion and stir fry in deep pan
together with olive oil and bay leaf.
- Once the onion is golden brown, add potatoes, soy
sauce and spices.
- Add chopped celery together with 500 ml water. Boil
for 5 minutes.
- Allow to cool down and blend for 2 minutes.
- Add more water if too soup is too thick.
- Bring to the boil for 1 minute and stir regularly.
- Serve hot with toasted bread and grated cheese on top.
Onions
help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. Reduces risk of
heart attack and lowers cholesterol.
Celery
contains 23% sodium and it is said to help to be beneficial to the
bones.
