Cheese And Onion Pasty


Homemade Cheese And Onion Pasty, easy recipe to follow.

Ingredients:
200g bread mix (fast rising)
1 Tomato
50g cheese
1 Small onion
5 Fresh basil leaves
2 Table spoons olive oil
Salt and pepper

  • Mix bread mixture and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
  • De-seed and slice tomatoes.
  • Add basil leaves, sliced onion, grated cheese and 1 table spoon of olive oil.
  • Roll out bread dough into a circle (1cm thick).
  • Brush remaining olive oil on the circle.
  • Place ingredients on the top part of the circle.
  • Fold bottom part of circle onto the top part to form half moon shape.
  • Press edges gently with thumb to seal parcel.
  • Bake in pre heated oven for 20 minutes at 220 degrees.
  • Serve hot.
