Mussels Portuguese Style
Mussels Portuguese Style - Mediterranean Recipe

Ingredients:
1 kg fresh and cleaned mussels
2 Table spoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp fresh ginger
50 ml butter
1 Onion
1 Tomato
1 Table spoon Soy sauce
100 ml White wine.
50 g Parsley
Pepper and salt to taste
- Wash mussels several times under cold running
water.
- Discard of any mussels found open.
- Chop garlic, onion, tomato, ginger and stir fry
in large pan for 30 second on high heat
with olive oil.
- Add wine, Soy sauce and mussels and stir for 5
minutes on medium heat.
- Remove any unopened mussels as these cannot be
eaten.
- Add butter and stir for 1 minute. Season with
salt and pepper.
- Add mussels to serving dish, add chopped
parsley and pour some of the sauce.
Fish
is said to be great to promote good memory.
Mussels are high in Vitamin B12, folate (form of water soluble Vitamin
B9) and zinc. Zinc may help contribute to increase libido.
Ginger is a
natural antiseptic, used to treat colds and digestive problems. This ingredient is also known to improve libido.
