Mushroom Sweet and Sour
Vegetarian Mushroom Sweet And Sour Recipe

Ingredients:
200ml hot water
300g Fresh cup mushrooms (quarters)
1 Small onion
1 Garlic clove
150g Fresh purple broccoli florets
10 Black olives pitted
1 Fresh small tomato (de-seeded)
2 tsp Sweet tomato sauce for ketchup
1/2 tsp Portuguese paprika powder
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp Soy sauce
1 Red chili (de-seeded)
1/2 tsp Ginger powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Tandoori powder
1/2 tsp Fresh mustard
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Rice vinegar
1/2 tsp Honey
- Slice garlic and onion, adding to large frying pan with olive oil
and cumin seeds.
- Add broccoli florets and stir gently for 2 minutes on high heat.
- Add remaining ingredients except hot water.
- Season with sea salt and ground black pepper.
- Stir for another 2 minutes and before adding 100 ml hot water.
- Add remaining water and stir gently until sauce has thicken.
- Serve with pasta.
This is one my favourite quick hot snacks. You cannot go wrong
with pasta and mushrooms.
