Low Fat Tuna




Low Fat Tuna Salad Recipe - This tuna recipe makes the perfect appetizer
or a light starter for a protein diet with low calorie count.

Preparation: 8 minutes
 
Ingredients:
 300g Fresh Tuna steak
 ½ Sweet green pepper
 1 tsp white Port
 ½ Cucumber
 ½ Lime
 1 tsp Paprika
 2 tsp Olive oil
 Black pepper
 Sea salt

 -    Mix paprika with salt, pepper, olive oil, Port and lime juice into a sauce.
 -    Rub sauce by hand on thick tuna steak and allow to marinade for 30 minutes.
 -    Cut cucumber and sweet pepper into thin long strips and place in serving plate.
 -    Grill tuna steak for 2 minutes each side.  Or use a toastie
       maker/indoor 2 plate grill to grill both sides at once for 2 minutes.
 -    Remove tuna from heat and cut into medallions.
 -    Serve tuna medallions on top of green salad, drizzle olive oil and lime juice.
