Ingredients:
6 Wrap Tortillas
3 Table spoons sweet chili sauce
2 Table spoons shredded cheese
1 Table spoon olive oil
1 tsp Turmeric powder
3 tsp Paprika powder
1 tsp French mustard
200g Quorn pieces
1 Sweet orange pepper
1 Cup White wine
1/2 Onion
1 Garlic clove
2 hot chilies
1 tsp Butter
Salt and pepper
- Warm wraps in the oven for 6 minutes on 200 degrees Celsius.
- Switch on hot sandwich maker.
- Stir fry Quorn pieces with chopped onion and garlic.
- Add chopped chilies and olive oil.
- Season with salt and pepper. Add French mustard.
- Add chopped sweet pepper and toss regularly on high heat.
- Add wine and spices, stir gently. Check seasoning.
- Add butter and stir for another 2 minutes.
- Take off the heat and add a large spoon on each hot tortilla.
- Sprinkle some cheese on top.
- Add a drop of sweet chili sauce.
- Roll tortilla tight but gently.
- Place in sandwich maker for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with sweet chili sauce.
This recipe is hot and crispy on outside but hot and spicy on the inside.
A great suggestion for Mexican theme night.
The melted cheese helps blend all ingredients together.
I find that the best way to cool down your pallet is with fresh fruit.
Try fresh papaya and pineapple salad for afters, followed by a Bica
(Portuguese for expresso coffee), short and sweet just like me!
