Grilled Sardines
Grilled Sardines Recipe - This
is typical dish from Portugal, "Sardinha Na Brasa". Sardines
are nutritionally healthy and low
in fat.

Ingredients:
6 Small Sardines
100g Rocket salad
1 Lemon
Olive oil
Salt
- Marinate sardines in 2 table spoons of
olive oil, juice of half lime
and salt for 3
minutes.
- Grill sardines 2 minutes each side.
- Serve hot with rocket salad.
Sardines are available in abundance in Portugal. Portuguese
fishermen bring schools of sardines from the Atlantic.
A good health tip is to remove the middle membrane of sardine, found on
the horizontal side of this fish, to avoid stomach upset.
Sardines are best eaten fresh, caught the same day.
