French Toast


French Toast Recipe - Eggs are a great source of protein.
This recipe is a quick way to boost your energy levels and

Preparation: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
4 Slices bread
100 ml milk
2 Table spoons Olive oil
2 Eggs
Cinnamon
Sugar

  • Beat 2 eggs with milk and soak bread slices.
  • Heat pan with olive oil and fry bread 30 seconds each side.
  • Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon powder over bread.
  • Ready to serve.
In Portugal, sweet toast is as popular as pancakes are in England and USA.
I remember as a child how much I loved this sweet toast for breakfast.  My mum used to make lots in winter, takes me back to the best years of my life.

Cinnamon contains fibre and calcium.
This ingredient has anti-inflammatory properties and it can helps prevent heart disease.  Cinnamon is a natural high cholesterol treatment and it can lower blood sugar levels.  This ingredient can also improve symptoms for type 2 diabetes.
