Also fish contains essential fats such as omega 3 and 6.

Fish is divided into 2 categories: Lean and Fatty
Lean fish - horse mackerel, monk, sea bream and sword fish
This low fat fish is normally white.  Ideal for low intake diets and for those with sensitive digestive system.

Fatty fish - Salmon, trout, sardine and eel
This fish is high in essential fatty acids and contains a darker colour.  Our immune system benefits from natural fat which the body digests easier than meat.
