Soup Recipe - Fish Pasta Soup
Here is low carb fish soup recipe full of flavour. Enjoy!
Fish Soup Pasta

Serves: 4
Preparation: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
2 Mullet fish fillets (no skin)
100g Macaroni pasta
75g New potatoes
1/2 Onion (large)
1 Chili (medium hot)
4 Cherry red tomatoes
10 Black olives
1/4 tsp fresh rosemary
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp plain flour
1 Table spoon olive oil
2 Table spoon frozen peas
1 Table spoon sweet corn
1 Table spoon dry green lentils
1 Table spoon dry Mung Al lentils
1 Sweet red pepper
1 Garlic clove
Ground black pepper
Sea salt
- Prepare and chop all ingredients first before taking to the heat.
- Peel and chop onion with garlic.
- De-seed and chop chili, pepper and tomatoes.
- Peel and chop new potatoes finely.
- Chop fresh rosemary finely.
- Cut olives in halves and leave to one side.
- Pre-heat large pan for 10 seconds with olive oil.
- Add onion, garlic, chili and peppers.
- Stir on high heat for 30 seconds.
- Add 500ml water, tomatoes and dry lentils.
- Allow to cook for 5 minutes on high heat, stir regularly.
- Add 100 ml water if getting to dry.
- Turn heat to medium and add another 500ml water.
- Add remaining ingredients and allow to simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir occasionally and gently.
- Once cooked, fish will split into chunks naturally.
- Season with black pepper and sea salt.
- Take out of the heat once pasta is cooked.
Despite
the extensive list of ingredients, this is a low fat fish soup recipe.
The
chili will help warm your body in a cold day.
This soup recipe can also work
with salmon and monk fish.
