Cheese Broccoli Pie


Broccoli Pie full of flavour

Serves: 4
Preparation: 55 minutes

Ingredients:
150ml milk
2 Table spoons butter
2 Table spoons plain flour
2 Table spoons olive oil
500g Butter puff pastry
200g new potatoes (stir fried)
200g Broccoli florets
100g Stilton cheese
100g Cheddar cheese
5 Free range eggs
3 Garlic cloves
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
Salt and pepper

 - Pre-heat oven at 210 degrees Celsius.
 - Slice new potatoes into thin slices and stir fry with olive oil, butter, flour and milk.
 - After 2 minutes, remove from the heat.  Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
 - Roll out pastry to fit into pre greased oven tray in shell shape (30 cm x 30 cm)
 - Add potatoes on to top of pastry including the milk sauce.
 - Add grated cheese, crushed garlic, broccoli and beaten eggs.
 - Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
 - Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 1 minute before serving.
