Avocado Sandwich
Tomato And Avocado Sandwich Recipe -
This
is a great picnip recipe idea.

Preparation: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
2 bread rolls (previously home baked)
1 table spoon mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 Fresh tomatoes
25g watercress
1 Avocado
Salt and pepper
- Slice tomatoes and peel avocado
cutting
into halves.
- Place into sliced roll as layers.
- Add watercress, mayonnaise, salt
and
pepper.
- Serve cold, this is the perfect
packed
lunch.
You may wish to buy bread mix ready to bake or make
your own mix.
It is
best to be made in advance. To make bread to serve 2, you will
need:
200g plain flour
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt
1 table spoon olive oil
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly
ideally
with your hands for 5 minutes.
- Add 200ml warm water.
- Keep mixing until forming a dough
consistency.
- If mixture if to wet, add more
flour. Equally, if to dry, add sprinkle of
warm water. Dough takes time
so patience
is the key.
- Cover and place dough in warm
cupboard.
- Leave for at least 2 hours. It can be
left
overnight.
- Divide dough into small rolls
(about 7
cm thick).
- Bake in preheated oven for about 25
minutes at
220 degrees.
- Delicious served hot with butter
or
cold as per picture above.
